The Special Topics Web App allows faculty to interact with student’s requests to do a special topics elective. Students complete on-line forms, and faculty approve these forms or request a discussion with the student in the web app.
Faculty login is with your Pitt username and password. Once logged in, you will see a list of all student requests. Next to the student’s name is a status notice, so you can see which ones you need to approve.
Unfortunately, at this time, you must use only the username portion of your login, and cannot use the whole email. For example, I would use “waterstc” instead of “email@example.com.” We are working with CSSD to see if we can get this changed so that you can login with your whole email, and apologize in advance for any inconvenience this causes.
